Ignacio “Nacho” Román is the Senior Vice President and General Manager for Liberty Puerto Rico and USVI. He is responsible for leading the company’s operations and strategic growth initiatives across Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands, with a focus on customer experience, commercial performance, network development, and operational excellence.

Nacho brings more than 30 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. Prior to his current role, he led Liberty Latin America’s B2C commercial operations in Panama and previously held leadership roles within the company’s South-Central cluster. Throughout his career, he has led large-scale commercial and operational transformations across multiple markets in Latin America and the Caribbean.

Before joining Liberty Latin America, Nacho held senior leadership positions across the telecommunications sector in Europe and South America, driving growth strategies, building commercial operations, and delivering business transformation initiatives.
