Guillermo Ponce is Senior Vice President at Liberty Latin America, with direct responsibility for the company's investment in Peru and is a Board Director for the company's businesses in Panama and Costa Rica. Earlier in his tenure, he led Liberty Latin America's operations across Central and South America, overseeing operations in Panama, Costa Rica, and Peru. Between August 2025 and May 2026, he additionally served as Interim General Manager of Liberty Puerto Rico and USVI, leading the operation's stabilization and return to growth.

Guillermo brings 30 years of experience in Latin American telecommunications and technology. He served as CEO of VTR in Chile from 2011 to 2020, positioning the company as the country's leader in broadband and television, and previously held senior commercial and operational roles within the same organization. His track record spans major M&A transactions, large-scale transformations, and the regional rollout of artificial intelligence across Liberty Latin America's operations. He also serves as a Board Director of the Syndeo Institute in the United States and of ICARE in Chile.

He holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from Universidad de Chile (Highest Distinction) and an MBA from UCLA Anderson, complemented by executive programs at Kellogg, IMD, and Harvard Business School.
